Mission
“Serving the best and the most wide range variety of Japanese cuisine with unique and delicious taste, excellent Services and a touch of modern Japanese ambiance.”

Vision
“To Be the best international Japanese restaurant with ultimate professional management.”

Japanese cuisine has become a new trend and fashion of healthy food yet delicious all around the globe, this has inspired Mr. and Mrs. Andrian Rosano, whom are a big fan of Japanese food. To indulge their passions, at the end of 2003 with the assistance of seven best and talented chefs of Jakarta, they invented a new concept from a collaboration of  four to five different kinds of Japanese Restaurants into one. With the help of seven talented chefs, Mr. and Mrs Rosano had successfully developed more variety of Japanese food by meeting the original recipe of Japanese taste with the western taste.

On the 10th of January 2004, they open the first “TAKIGAWA” (which means flowing water fall) on a three storey building in Jalan Panglima Polim. Takigawa was the pioneer for Japanese restaurants that prepare a wide range of menu variety and became “the talk of the town” at that time. Marisa, Ivy Purwita (socialite), Dina Lorenza (actress) and Davina Veronica (Model) were hosts of Takigawa to promote its unique ambience, prime quality of food and beverages and its excellent services.

The sensation of Takigawa  attracted people from all over Jakarta to visit the first outlet placed in  Panglima Polim. It convinced PT. Summarecon Agung Tbk, as the owner of La Piazza Building in North Jakarta to ask Mr.Rosano to fit in the icon of the mall, the triangle glass building called La Prisma in March, 2005. Of the many giant properties that PT. Summarecon built and managed, Takigawa is the only one who had the opportunity to become a tenant with a “revenue sharing” system.

After the success from the second Takigawa, the third Takigawa restaurant opened at Setiabudi One building in the same year. It is well known amongst the business people for lunch and dinner because of its location in the CBD area.

Three months after the opening of third outlet, the  Kameron family, Wulan Guritno and other socialites expressed interest in franchising Takigawa. Then the fourth Takigawa opened in the end of year 2005 at Cilandak Town Square with a different concept, and we called it “Little Takigawa” in a 65 m2 of lot. Little Takigawa has been rewarded three times in a row by Cilandak Town Square Management as “The Best Restaurant Tenant” since it was opened.

As they satisfied with “Little Takigawa”, the Kameron family invited Krisdayanti, Amy Gumelar and more to join the group in franchising Takigawa. The fifth Takigawa restaurant opened in the end of 2006, with a different concept of a  great sky walk view, which became a popular place to hang out with friends and family.

The following sixth Takigawa has opened in Grand Indonesia on March 2008, franchised by Ussy Sulistiyawati (actress and singer) and friends.

The principle of Takigawa is to build this business based on “trust and honesty”. With trust Takigawa and its partners will grow together in developing the vision and mission that has become our key to a profitable business.
